The Cabin

Located in Saint-Adolphe-d’Howard, in the Laurentians, just 1 hour from Montreal.
The cabin is very comfortable and designed for two people. A maximum of four people is allowed at all times if you are receiving guests.
Yes, there are neighbors in the area. However, the cabin offers a very peaceful environment, and our visitors often mention calm, tranquility, and relaxation as highlights of their stay.
Whether it’s two people, a solo guest, with or without a dog, anyone who wants to be in nature, enjoy activities, the lake and the view, relax in the spa under the stars, and recharge. That’s Niksen!
There is one bedroom on the garden level with a Queen bed. There is a sofa bed on the main floor. All bedding is provided.
Yes, there is a heat pump on the garden level in the bedroom. A portable AC unit is also installed on the main floor during summer to enhance comfort.
Yes, there is a wood-burning outdoor fire pit accessible year-round. Boxes of firewood (about 10 logs, kindling, and paper) are available for $20 + tax each. Payable at booking, before the stay, or on-site. Lighters and matches are available in the kitchen drawer. There is also an electric fireplace inside the cabin on the main floor.

Yes, there is a gazebo equipped with two small tables and four chairs. A small fridge is available during summer. The gazebo is protected with mosquito netting. Enjoy sunset dinners by the lake.

Yes, there is a BBQ on the terrace with propane included. BBQ tools such as spatula and tongs are also provided.

A complete guide is sent 14 days before your stay. Plenty to enjoy at the cabin and throughout the Saint‑Sauveur Valley.

Low season: 2 nights minimum. High season and holidays: 3 nights minimum.
Check‑in at 4:00 PM, checkout at noon. This allows us time to clean and prepare the cabin. Early arrival or late departure is not possible except in rare cases. Check‑in is autonomous with a smart lock code sent 48 hours before your stay.
50% due at booking. Balance due 30 days before arrival.
